There is something about giving handmade presents. If you choose them right, you can almost feel the thought and the work and the excitement put into them. It is nice when you take the time and make gifts yourself (and Barbara has some great ideas for DIY gifts for moms), but I know, sometimes life gets in the way and you’re just to busy for a DIY project.
And honestly, who knows more about being busy All The Time than your Mom? Or any Mom, really. I am pretty sure she will understand if you don’t have the time to make something. And I am positive she would appreciate a carefully picked (albeit bought) handmade present just as much.
