With the barbecue season (almost) in full swing, we thought we’d take care of one thing for you. Drink name tags. You gotta have them, right? Otherwise, the drinks get mixed up, no one knows which is which… That’s why we made these cute DIY drink name tags. And a free printable, so you can make them, too!
These straw name tags are so easy to make, you won’t believe it. You could even print them out, set up a name tag station with scissors and a sharpie and let your guests do the rest. Fun times guaranteed!
Let me show you how to make DIY drink name tags for your next party!
You will need:
- Our DIY Drink Name Tags Free Printable (you’ll find the download instructions at the end of this article)
- Drinking straws
1 Print out the DIY Drink Name Tags Free Printable. Using scissors, cut out the shapes.
2 Using scissors or an Xacto knife, cut on the marked lines. These will be openings for the straw to go through. The length of the cut depends on the width of the straws you are using, so you might want to try it out a bit.
3 Slip a straw through the openings, so it forms the letter “I” or an exclamation point (depending on the tag).
4 Write your guest’s name on the name tag.
